This was our first time, and for people going through a home-buying experience, it is a lot. However, when you are new and unaware of the process, it can get even more overwhelming. I think there should be more explanation and patience with new home buyers. Sometimes, we may forget how overwhelming it can be when we are in the midst of it all the time.

I feel if a few more questions would’ve been asked in the beginning then the surprises I was faced with might not have delayed the whole process. Things like, do live in a rural area? Do you have a well? Do you have a septic system? Do live on a private road? All these answerable questions at the initial phone call would have expedited the process instead of me having to jump through hoops at different times. I thought I had everything done 3 different time only to be disappointed and frustrated by the process. I guess the new saying should be, fourth times a charm.
